Shallot Gravy

This flavorful gravy is perfect for use with roasted turkey or chicken.
Ingredients
- One shallot, diced
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 tablespoon flour
- 2Êtablespoons heavy cream
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons Italian parsley, minced
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
In preheated pan on medium to high heat, add butter and brown shallots (about 3-4 minutes). Add flour, salt & pepper and let cook additional 2-3 min. Stir in the wine and cook for additional 2 minutes until flour and seasonings are thoroughly mixed. Add chicken broth and cream. Reduce heat to low and let cook for 10-15 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Add parsley 5 minutes before serving.
